TWO TICKETS EACH WIN $217,909 PLAYING JERSEY CASH 5
Winning Tickets Were Sold in Morris and Somerset Counties
TRENTON, NJ – (October 5, 2012) – Two winning Jersey Cash 5 tickets worth $217,909 each
were sold in Morris and Somerset Counties for the Thursday, October 4 drawing. The Morris
County winning ticket was sold at Green Hills Liquors, located at 168 Parsippany Road in
Parsippany; and the Somerset County ticket was sold at Star Discount Liquors, located at
25 Greenbrook Road in North Plainfield.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the two winning tickets were the only ones sold for
Thursday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 04, 13,
17, 29, and 38.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Green Hills Liquors and at Star
Discount Liquors,” said Hedinger. “For selling these tickets, they will each receive a bonus check
for $750. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for two very fortunate lottery
winners.”
Hedinger also noted that 5,729 other players won $136,138 in cash prizes in the Thursday
drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 176 players won cash prizes of $458.00 each; and
for correctly matching three numbers, 5,553 players won $10.00 each.
