Rationale for Existence: The Reliability Subcommittee will provide a forum to discuss issues within the
context of the MISO tariff, Transmission Owner Agreement, Amended Balancing Authority Agreement,
MISO seams agreements, NERC Reliability Standards, applicable Regional Standards, and other
applicable documents for direction on implementation and maintenance of reliability and tariff
administration functions at MISO within the MISO footprint and between MISO and adjacent areas.
The purpose of the Reliability Subcommittee is for members to advise, guide, and provide
recommendations for decision making in areas affecting reliability. Examples include, but are not limited
