According to entries preliminary pools of 3 or 4 players. First or two best players of each pool
Draw
will continue to the main draw to be played in knock-out system, otherwise a knock-out draw will
be done.
Seeding and draw will be done by the organizers.
Eligible to play
- Foreign players have to be member of an association affiliated to the BWF.
- Cyprus players – members of the Cyprus Badminton Federation.
All entries must be confirmed by their National Association.
All entries must be sent according to order of strength.

Singles:
€ 15 per player.
Doubles: € 10 per player, per event.
Entry fee
Draw
Payment must be done in cash at the TM briefing before the start of the competition on
Thursday morning. Place and time will be announced later.
The Member Association that enters a player/pair into a BEC Junior Circuit tournament is
responsible for paying the entry fees for that player/pair. The entry fees become due if a player
is entered and has not been withdrawn by the Member Association by midnight local time on the
closing date.
The draw will be carried out on 21/10/2014 in accordance with BWF regulations.

“BWF are pleased that this tournament has agreed to support the BWF in testing a new scoring
system. The following experimental law of Badminton (Appendix 3 – Other Scoring Systems)
applies to the playing of this tournament:

3. the best of five games of 11 points
In the case of 3 above, the following variations shall apply to the Laws of Badminton:
7 Scoring System
7.1 A match shall consist of the best of five games
7.2 A game shall be won by the side which first scores 11 points
8 Change of Ends
8.1.2 at the end of the second game,
8.1.3 at the end of the third game, if there is to be a fourth game; and
8.1.4 at the end of the fourth game, if there is to be a fifth game; and
8.1.5 in the fifth game when a side first scores 6 points.
16. Continuous play, Misconduct & penalties
16.2 Intervals
16.2.1 not exceeding 60 seconds, only in the fifth game, when the leading score reaches 6
points and
16.2.2 not exceeding 120 seconds between the first and second games, second and third
games, third and fourth games, and fourth and fifth games shall be allowed in all matches
Please note only the variation to the regular laws in this system are included in Appendix 3
(wording above). All the regular laws such as 8.1.1 (change of ends after the first game) apply
as per normal.”
Competitors must be prepared to play at the times quoted in the order of play for the events for

For those who need a Visa to Cyprus it is strongly recommended to arranged it in due time.

A fee of 10 euro per person will be charged from/ to Larnaca Airport, and 30 euro per person
from/to Paphos Airport.
Payment of transport fees should be paid alongside with the payment of fees at the TM briefing
which will be held for U13, U15, U17 on Thursday morning before the start of the competition
and for U19 on Thursday evening. Place and time will be announced later.
During competition Provided by the organizers free of charge between the sports hall and the
place of accommodation according to bus schedule.
