Format:
Captain’s Choice - Saturday at The Carolina Club
Best Ball - Sunday at The Pointe Golf Club
Eligibility:
All male amateurs with a current USGA handicap index. All handicaps will be verified.
Entry Fee:
Non-Members—$175 per player
Members (In Good Standing)—$125 per member
Entry fee includes tournament greens and cart fees, range balls, and food after play.
Entry
Deadline:
Entries must reach The Pointe Golf Club by 5:00 PM on Monday, May 29th. Field is
limited to the first 60 paid teams. It is your team’s responsibility to call The Pointe Golf Club
(252-491-8388) to confirm that your entry has been received and accepted.
Code of
Conduct:
Any unsportsmanlike conduct, including abusive language, cheating, club throwing, disrespect to
volunteers, fellow competitors, golf course staff, or abuse of golf course property will result in dismissal
from the tournament, and a permanent ban from all future events. All golfers will be responsible for any
damage that may be caused to golf course property, including golf carts.
Practice:
Each tournament participant may play one practice round at the course of their choice.
There will be limited availability for practice rounds on Friday, June 2nd, so practice rounds
may be played any day during the week of May 29—June 2. Practice rounds may be booked
up to one week in advance. Practice round rate is $25 per player.
Flights:
Teams will be pre-flighted according to USGA handicap index. Partners may have no
more than 8 strokes difference between handicaps. The tournament rules committee reserves
the right to adjust a team’s handicap/flight based on previous tournament performance.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded in pro shop merchandise.
Over $6,000 in prizes based on a full field (60 teams).
Pairings:
Saturday’s pairings will be available by noon, Friday, June 2nd. Sunday’s pairings will
be based on Saturday’s scores.
Start
Times:
Play will commence with a 10:00 AM shotgun each day.
