pack if you were evacuated to another place
today, giving your reasons for each item.
Research an aircraft, ship or
tank that took part in WW1.
Make a model, drawing or
collage and don’t forget to
include a description.
Create a fact-file about the life of a child
during World War 2. This should contain
facts about everyday life including
evacuation, rationing, the Blitz.
Make a drawing, painting or
collage using different materials
that shows a scene from the War.
Design a recruitment poster to
encourage people to fight for
their country during the War.
Design and
make a game involving facts
about the War
(board game, card game,
memory game, observation
game)
Make your own artefact from
World War 2 – this could be
a rationing book, an
evacuation case, a gas mask,
soldier’s helmet or a medal.
An idea of your own…
Write a fictional diary as a child during World
War 1 or 2.
These are just a few ideas however feel free to be as creative as you like.
Remember you can have help from an adult but this should be your
own work. We will be giving out a maximum of 5 house points.
Please make sure to speak to your teacher before 10.2.17 if you have
any problems or need any resources from school. We look forward
to seeing what you get up to.
