Joe wants to change to a more secure password using the Password Management Portal on the IS Self Service Help Desk. Joe logs in through My Apps and changes his password to "joe1may"; however, the system will not accept his password because it contains his name, lacks a special character, and is only seven characters in length. Joe tries again by entering "#healthy1". This time, the password is accepted because it contains a combination of lower-case letters (not his name!), a special character, and a number, AND it is 9 characters long. In addition to following the new guidelines for passwords, don't forget the basics of password security: never use your name, account number, or other personal information as a component of your password, do not give your password to anyone, and do not write it on a sticky note posted on or near your PC. 9. In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the password from the New Password field. 10. Click Next and the final screen returns showing that password reset successfully 11. Click OK to end the session 12. If prompted, Click Yes to close the Window Step 3 – Login to My Apps Using Your Username And Password 1. To access, oneChart, click ‘My Apps’. 2.
