Services for FCC &Social Service In the previous years I involved myself in faculty development programs as a LEADER under the Centre for learning and teaching at FCC, which are given below: 1. Conducted a faculty workshop on “Introduction to Microsoft Excel” on 31st March 2007 (3 hours) under the Centre for learning and teaching. Faculty members evaluated this workshop as very helpful. 2. Devoted my summer for the faculty development and participated in the Intel training Program as a Master trainer19 June to 5 July 2006. It was a 60 hours training. After the successful completion of this training I trained other sixteen faculty members of Forman Christian University in a series of 11 Saturday trainings(September to December 2006). And then it was a 40 hours training for other faculty. Hence I successfully completed this 100 hours task. Faculty members learned Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Publisher in this training. In the end of this training they all were able to develop PowerPoint presentations, word documents, course outline preparation, website developments and academic rubrics developments. Faculty appreciated my concern and in their feedback they highly appreciated my efforts. 3. During summer, in the absence of the Incharge the Centre for learning and teaching Dr. Coufal I was one of the coordinator of Intel Master Training Programme and often visited the Intel head office to arrange this program. Assisted in “Recording Attendance and Grading, Using Excel” workshop (02hours) on 21 February 2007. 5. Assisted in 2 workshops of Microsoft Word led by Dr. Iftikhar Shah (04 hours) in March 2007. 4. 6. Conducted a faculty workshop on “Introduction to Microsoft Excel” on 20th March 2006 (2.5 hours) under the Centre for learning and teaching. Successfully completed Oral English Program FCC organized by Dr. Mike Medley. It’s a 10 days training from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm from 18th to 28th June 2007. 4. Participated in a 3 hours’ workshop on “Effective searching techniques” conducted by HEC personnel in 14thApril 2007. 5. Attended a 1.5 hours workshop on “Graduate study in US and Fulbright awards” on 17th Jan, 2007 by Fulbright commission Islamabad. 6.
