Welcome to the Coach’s Corner
Each week enjoy a few words from a member of our NTSC
coaching staff. This week
Head Age Group Coach Rick
Peterson shares an HOP recap:
Congratulations New Trier S.C. Nation on another
incredible Hour of Power Effort! The twin goals of increasing
awareness about Sarcoma cancer and raising funds to fight
this insidious disease were achieved in record fashion. More
of our athletes participated in fund-raising, raced on the big
day, and/or in other ways raised awareness than ever before.
In addition, we brought in more than $20 thousand dollars to
help find a cure, not only smashing our own team record, but
also aiding in the establishment of a new world record for
annual fund-raising. The biggest thrill for me, however, was
that everyone on the team – athletes, coaches, and parents –
all pitched in selflessly to help create such a positive result
and powerful experience for all. We are GREAT when we all
pull together!

Drop Off and Pick Up
Parents, please respect the function of the drop off section at
the Northfield campus. The purpose of this space is to drive
through in order to pick up kids, not to park or leave your
vehicle. If you are waiting for your sons/daughters please
park in the lot across the street. Also, please pick up your
athletes within 15 minutes of the end of their practice.
