The Paralympic Games
In 1948 , Sir Ludwig
Guttmann , a doctor at
a hospital in England , began using
sport as part of his patients' treatment .
He set up a competition with other
hospitals at the same time as the
London Olympic in that year .Over the

In 1960 , at the Rome Olympics ,
