MiMi shelving was originally developed with children’s libraries in
mind, with the warmer tones of wood effects and coloured
laminates providing a softer look than our traditional library
shelving systems.
The core MiMi design is based on scaled down dimensions,
making it suitable for library areas serving children and young
adults. However, as its popularity has grown, so has its range
and stature. Today’s MiMi includes bays in a wide range of
heights making it suitable for all kinds of libraries and multi-use
spaces.
MiMi’s hard wearing finishes are complemented by a palette of
five standard accent colours which can be specified for upright
panels or other components, to complete the MiMi look.
The beauty of MiMi is that you can mix n match your colours or
you may want an all timber look. The choice is yours!
We manufacture MiMi shelving and components to order,
so it’s easy to get the look you want – whatever the application

The modular MiMi range allows you to mix and match components in different finishes – or go for a more integrated look with a
common finish throughout.
You can also complete your scheme with MiMi counters, play
tables and seating, kinderboxes – all designed to complement
your shelving.
MiMi components are manufactured in the UK under a stringent
quality scheme, so you can be sure of durability and quality that
will ensure years of reliable service – even in busy public libraries

MiMi standard colours
All MiMi surfaces are Melamine faced from the
Krono Swiss range.
Shelves, back panels and canopy tops are available
in four standard finishes: white, pale grey, maple
and beech.
Upright gable panels can be finished in any of five
standard accent colours – or any combination of
these. Our accent colours have been chosen for us
by an educational colour consultant.

these colours are subject to minor variations, for
which we cannot be held responsible. The colours
shown here are approximate. Please refer to the
manufacturer’s charts for accurate colour matching.
