Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe
This board includes many different activities to help your child practice his/her spelling words. Your child must do at least 3
of the activities to make a tic-tac-toe line with the center square being part of the three in a row. Please mark your choices
with crayon, marker, etc. Parents, you are encouraged to assist your child as needed to make homework a positive learning
experience. This sheet will be included in your child’s Travel Folder on Monday and needs to be turned in on Friday along
with all the work. The spelling words are listed on the back. Have fun! 
Write your spelling words in
ABC order.
Write all spelling words. Circle
the vowels in each word.
Write a sentence with each
word and underline the word.
Write your words with a pencil
and then go over them with a
crayon or marker like rainbow
writing.
Write a question for each of
your spelling words. Underline
the spelling words.
*MUST DO SQUARE*
Have an adult give you a
practice test at home. Be sure
the test is checked and signed
by the adult.
Write your words three times
each in your very best
handwriting.
Write your words across the
page and then down the page.
