Group Questions:
Do you agree or disagree with the statement that God heals just not
always in ways we desire or expect? In what ways?
How does focusing on who Jesus is rather than what he does for you,
help in having a proper perspective on healing?
Do miracles happen every day even if we don’t see them?
Why does it seem that more miraculous events happen in the foreign
mission field than here in the U.S.?
How does God want to communicate with you?
In what ways could we use people with the gift of administration in this
church? Why are they so necessary?
Why does God gift people with the spiritual gift of giving aid? How can
people with this gift partner with those who have the gift of evangelism?
Application:
Pray for those given these Spiritual gifts to become aware of them and to
use them to enable growth within the church and reach the lost and
hurting as God has planned for them.

The Serving Gifts
1. The Gift of Healing
Definition: “Enables a person to be an instrument of God’s healing _____________ in the lives of others.” –Kenneth Kinghorn
God can heal in five ways:
1.
2.
3.
4.
____________________________ healing.
God can heal over time through natural processes.
God heals through _________________________.
God gives us grace to endure our suffering by healing our
__________________________________.
5. God heals our eternal spiritual sickness.
We do not need to question God’s willingness to heal us. We
need to focus on his ___________________ to heal.
A person with the gift of healing does not ___________________________
God’s plan. He or she simply places their faith in God’s power, and
then leaves the results to him.
A good way to approach healing and the spiritual gift of healing is
that God wants us to approach him with confidence because of
___________ he is and not because of __________________ he can do for us.
2. The Gift of ________________________
Definition: “The special ability given to a believer by the Holy Spirit
to reveal God in a special, seemingly impossible way.”
We don’t need miracles to reach a lost and dying world. Our
changed __________________ is the biggest testimony that Jesus is alive.
3. The Gift of ____________________________
Definition: Equips one to lead in matters of church organization and
government.” – Kenneth Kinghorn.
This gift often means long hours of organization and attention to
detail while keeping an _____________________ that does not demand
recognition.
4. The Gift of Giving Aid
Definition: “enables one to ________________ needs and then to assume
leadership in the Christian community in giving aid to meet those in
need.” –Kenneth Kinghorn
