Winter stories, weather/seasons, animal habitats and adaptations,
how animals survive in the winter, using prior knowledge about an
author and various science concepts, making connections
between stories (and science) and having questions after you read
a story. We also talked about positive character traits depicted by
story characters this week, which leads into our social studies work
for the next few weeks about people who make a difference.
Writing: responses to stories, (connecting with science and
providing evidence, making connections with different texts),
