Give Kids A Chance Awards 25 Scholarships To Low-Income Students
MIAMI, FL — June 26, 2015 – Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A.
announced that Give Kids A Chance, a charitable foundation that provides low-income students
with college scholarships, has awarded 25 scholarships totaling $100,000 to high school seniors
across Florida.
Founded by Stearns Weaver Miller Real Estate shareholder Brian McDonough in 2004, Give Kids
A Chance is a donor-advised fund that provides scholarships to children of low-income families
statewide to assist them in attending college. The fund has raised over $1 million and awarded
over 320 scholarships in the past decade. Its main fundraising event is an annual golf
tournament held each November in Miami Beach, attended by leaders in the affordable
housing industry.

McDonough. “It is their generosity that makes this program possible.”
