Did You Know Did you know that not all people are sensitive to poison ivy? According to the American Academy of Dermatology, about 15% of the population will not develop an allergic reaction when exposed to poison ivy. If you come in contact with poison ivy, wash the skin with soap and water and launder any clothing that may have come in contact with the plant. An over the counter product may help relieve the itching. For severe allergic reactions, a physician should be contacted immediately.
