ESSENTIAL MINIMUM CRITERIA

A PhD or equivalent degree in Molecular Biology or similar discipline

Experience with cell culture and microscopy and image analysis techniques.

Experience in recombinant gene transfer construct development and analysing cell behaviour through histology and molecular
studies.

Experience in RNA and protein detection and quantitation in cells and tissues.
5
Experience with mouse models, preferably with genetic and/or cancer models
6
Competency in the use of computer software and experience in MS-Office suite

DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTICS
1
Understanding of the statistical and computational aspects of bioinformatics and the underlying genomics and genetics concepts.

Ability to collaborate with researchers and graduate students from diverse disciplines, to lead the development of project ideas
demonstrating independence under the direction of its supervisor.
3
Ability to undertake, complete and write up scientific research within agreed timeframes.
4
A Strong publication record (relative to experience).
