Match Report
On Wednesday 23rd September our year 7 netball team played a netball match
against St Bedes. We won the toss up and took the first centre. With excellent
passing from myself, Grace and Megan we easily scored within seconds. Making
the score 1-0. After that it was St Bedes centre, which we also scored from.
Continuing to play well with outstanding passes and domination of possession, we
managed to make the score 5-1 only a quarter of the way through the game.
At half way we decided to swap around our players so everyone could play. With
Tyra’s amazing spiking she stopped St Bedes scoring multiple times. With the last
quarter left, we decided to swap our players one last time. With outstanding
marking from Charlotte we stopped them from scoring anymore points and
helped our shooters Adacia and Grace out. After losing last week it really
motivated us all of us.
We all played exceptionally well winning our first match as a proper team. The
final score was 9-8. We would like to thank Miss Bradley, Miss Gatfield and Miss
Williams for coaching us and supporting us.
