Let Chef Curtis McGhee delight your taste buds with the authentic Southern-Inspired American
cuisine at C&C Kitchen. Before moving to Champaign County, Chef Curtis graduated from Le
Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, and ran a gourmet soup cafe that was voted among the
top 10 for soups and sandwiches in Chicago. Today, C&C Kitchen serves up the best Cajunstyle food in the area. Group dining options are available and entertainment is offered upon
request.
DAY 1
Travel the World at Spurlock Museum
The Spurlock Museum celebrates the people and places of our world. With approximately
45,000 objects, covering six continents and one million years of human cultural history in its
artifact collection, the Spurlock Museum celebrates our shared humanity by collecting, preserving,
documenting, exhibiting and studying objects of cultural heritage. Enjoy a guided tour through their
collections, and let their knowledgeable staff interpret the diversity of cultures throughout time and
across the globe.
Journey Back in Time on the Historic Monticello Railroad
Travel just 20 minutes to the historic Monticello Railway Museum where guests can board the historic
dining cars for a lovely lunch-time ride. Lunch, which is catered in, will be served as everyone sits back
and enjoys the beauty of their surroundings. For about an hour the train will be in motion, showing
guests a glimpse of the charming town of Monticello.
Shop ‘Til You Drop in the Downtown Square
As the train arrives in downtown Monticello, guests will have the
opportunity to explore the shops lining the historic square. Antiques,
consignment, glassblowing and more! This is the perfect opportunity
to pick up something old or something new.
Dinner and Jazz at Silver Creek
Get a taste of the local food scene at Silver Creek Restaurant. This charming eatery serves modernAmerican dining, which never ceases to impress. Groups can enjoy an intimate meal in the private
greenhouse setting with live entertainment from one of Champaign County’s local musicians.

Learn about Lincoln at the Museum of the Grand Prairie
From Lincoln to Central Illinois history, this hands-on museum offers learning experiences that everyone can enjoy.
Discover Lincoln’s ties to the area, get a first-hand look at the first species who roamed our prairies, and learn all
about how the Central Illinois area came to be. Despite its countless exhibits and
interactive displays, the Museum of the Grand Prairie is the perfect size for groups.
Kiss a Reindeer at Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch
Have you ever kissed a real-live Alaskan reindeer? Now is your chance! Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch offers a
unique attraction for those of all ages. Pick a pumpkin in the pines, browse through the quaint gift shop, try
your luck at figuring out the mysteries of the 10-acre Cornfusion maze and, of course, come face-to-face
with an Alaskan Reindeer! Guests will then enjoy a wild-west themed theater lunch at their southern-style
banquet facility.

Go Behind the Scenes at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts
Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of this premier educational and professional performing arts complex that
hosts over 300 performances each year. This guided tour will take you through each level of the center
and will provide an in-depth look at the history of the building and the many aspects of production
that occur there each day. Venture down to Krannert’s production levels where you will see the props
and costumes used in performances all over the world, and learn about the details on the acoustical
properties of Foellinger Great Hall. Finish up with a performance in the intermezzo during the weekly
Uncorked series, featuring local artists and tasty drinks in this fun, funky environment.
Culinary Crawl in Downtown Champaign
End your tour in Champaign with a delicious dinner at a number of Downtown Champaign’s many
locally-owned restaurants. We’ll create a custom dining tour, with incredible dining choices, from farm-totable, sushi, pizza, juicy burgers and eclectic tapas. You won’t go hungry as you savor one of the many
restaurants in Downtown Champaign.
DAY 3
Learn the Science Behind Organs at Buzards Organ Shop
Have you ever wondered how organs are constructed? Get a behind the scenes look at the entire
organ creation process at Buzard’s Organ Shop. This gem is operated by a dedicated team of skilled
organ builders who take their talents to theaters and churches all over the world. Enjoy a guided tour of
the workshop led by one of the organ gurus and discover the science behind one of the most intricate
instruments.
Channel Your Inner Creativity with Pizza & Painting, led by
Lola’s Brush
Combine authentic Italian wood-fired pizza with a guided painting class at Pizza Antica in downtown
Champaign. Attendees will learn the basics of painting on canvas as they create their own
masterpiece. Hosted by Lola’s Brush, this fun and interactive class can be enjoyed by those of all ages.
