Tournament Rules
All EVBC athletes are expected to be in the gym, ready to warm-up, at the scheduled arrival
time. This usually means the athlete needs to arrive at the site 15 minutes prior to the
scheduled arrival time. Earlier is always better. Proper conduct is expected for all members for
the Club at all times. This includes athletes, coaches, parents, and fans. This also means
treating fans from other teams, other parents, and officials with respect. Facility rules and
regulations are to be obeyed at all times by athletes, spectators, and coaches.
Athletes and/or parents are expected to provide transportation for their athlete to and from
tournament sites and practices. If Student/Athlete is unable to fulfil obligations to teammates
[club tournament/practice/team function];
Student/Athlete Must;



Email Club Director of dates and times of absences
Email Coach of any and all conflicts
CC parents of any and all conflicts


It is the Student/Athletes, not the parents, responsibility to inform their Club, Coaches, and
Directors of any and all conflicts. EVBC supports and fosters the concepts of being responsible to
Club, Team, Family and making good choices.
Parents are expected to treat the coaches with the utmost respect, if a parent has concerns
he/she would like to address with the coach, please refer to the grievance procedure located on
the website. Coaches have been instructed not to address concerns regarding playing time and
other coaching decisions during a tournament setting, if you have concerns, please follow the
grievance procedure. Athletes are not to leave the tournament site until excused by the coach.
Officiating
Officiating is the shared responsibility of the entire team. All EVBC athletes are required to help
with line judging, scorekeeping, score flipping, and officiating.
Each coach will determine a procedure their team will follow for officiating assignments.
EVERY PLAYER IS REQUIRED TO STAY UNTIL EXCUSED BY THE COACH.
