Sharing Economics and the innovation of Asian shipping and
logistics industry
ICASL is an annual international event devoted to shipping and logistics studies. It aims
to provide a platform for academics, researchers, policy makers, specialists, and
practitioners working in port, shipping, aviation transportation and logistics. We are
expecting a wide range of attendances from Asia-Pacific and other overseas regions to
this coming event.
It is our great pleasure to invite all of you to the 9th International Conference of Asian
Shipping and Logistics (ICASL 2016) to be held from July6- Juy9, 2016 in Keelung,
Taiwan. The Conference will be jointly organized by Korean Association of Shipping
and Logistics, Inc. and The National Taiwan Ocean University.
The theme of 2016 conference is “Sharing Economics and the innovation of Asian
shipping and logistics industry”. Sub-issues are sharing economics related issues in the
Asian countries, Collaboration and alliances in Maritime shipping related issues, Supply
chain management and logistics related issues, Sea Transport and Transportation
Technology related issues, Recent Trends and Future Perspectives for logistics and sea

transport related issues in resources sharing. We welcome the full-papers or the first
draft on all aspects of shipping and logistics that are in line with the Journal’s aims and
scope.
Selected manuscripts from the ICASL2016 will be invited to submit for the publication
consideration in the special issue of the Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics,
Strategic Outsourcing: An International Journal, etc.
For applying for attending conference, you can register and submit the abstract of
papers by the 30 March, 2016to Secretary of the ICASL 2016: Dr. Jung-sun LEE
(Email: [email protected]), and submit Full paper by 01 May, 2016. If you have
any question, do not hesitate to contact our Secretary of the ICASL 2016.
To prepare manuscripts, authors are asked to closely follow the “Instructions
toContributors”(http://www.elsevier.com/journals/the-asian-journal-of-shipping-andlogistics/). Manuscripts will be refereed according to the standards of AJSL. See the
