You’re in the Top 40! NSERC’s Science, Action! Contest
Congratulations! Your entry to NSERC’s Science, Action! video contest has qualified for the
Top 40 and will proceed to the Public Voting round.
What’s Next?
From February 1 to 28, your video will be hosted on NSERC’s website and YouTube channel for
public voting. The 25 videos with the most views at the end of the month proceed to our judges
panel, where the Final 15 prize winners will be decided.
We encourage you to promote your video online to improve your chances of making it to the
final round. Share it on social media, ask your faculty and university’s communications
department to post the video on their websites and tell your family and friends where they can
watch it! Make sure to read the contest rules for more information about promoting videos.
Videos that acquire views through artificial means, such as automated viewers, spam software
and purchased views, will be automatically eliminated.
You can start promoting your video when the webpage goes live at 11 a.m. (EST) on February 1,
2017. Public voting runs until February 28 at 4 p.m. (EST).
Public voting results will be revealed on March 6, 2017. Only the creators of the 25 videos that
qualify for the final round of judging will be notified by email.
