*** Osbourn High School Athletic Booster Club Mission Statement ***
The Mission of the Osbourn High School Athletic Booster Club is to promote positive parent and community
involvement in the support of the Osbourn Eagles’ athletic program. This involvement consists of both volunteer
service and the financial support required to foster the development of our athletes; and to maintain the history and
the tradition of excellence in academics, character, and sportsmanship; which exemplifies our student athletes,
coaches, staff, and parents.
MEETINGS: 7:00 PM; FIRST WEDNESDAY of EACH MONTH
The Osbourn Athletic Boosters is an organization dedicated to supporting all athletic activities at Osbourn High School. This
is a partnership between parents and coaches.
Coaches will be responsible for soliciting parent volunteers to work concession stands at home games and the profits will
benefit their team directly. Parent volunteers are needed for other various events (please complete the volunteer form below).
Each year, scholarships are awarded to athletes meeting certain criteria established by the scholarship committee. Five
$1,000 scholarships were awarded last year.
We invite you to join us and share your ideas for various ways that we can support the athletic program at Osbourn High

 SLOPER’S DAY - A couple volunteers are needed to keep track of sale amounts, e.g., letter jackets, etc. (one day in
November).
 WHITE HOUSE ORNAMENT SALES - Lots of volunteers needed to man a booth at the Northern Virginia
Christmas Market in November. This will be scheduled in shifts. We have LOTS of fun!
 SPIRIT SALES - Volunteers need to sell Spirit Wear items at various athletic functions.
 MEMBERSHIP/VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE - Responsible for contacting parents to join the Athletic Boosters and
contacting volunteers for various events.
