REQUEST TO MOVE INSTRUCTIONS
If you would like to request to move to another residence hall or room (or request a roommate),
you must complete an online request to move form.
To be considered for a room move, you must make the request through this process.
Please follow these instructions to activate your request:
1)
From the Lander University homepage, click on the MyLander tab
2)
Log in using your user name and password
3)
The MyLander homepage will open. Access the Bearcat Web section and click on the
Bearcat Web (Banner Self Service) folder tab
4)
Click on the Housing/Residence Life folder tab
5)
Click on the Request to Move folder tab
6)
The Request to Move form will open, displaying your current room assignment
and roommate(s), if any
7)
Please complete the form, answering all the questions that are asked.
This is very important as we make changes to your existing room assignment.
If you desire to change roommates, a request to move must be submitted by both you and
your desired roommate reflecting the identical requests.
8)
Press submit
Request to Move is currently not available and will open on Thursday July, 26th at 5 p.m.
You will receive a confirmation in your Lander email that your request to move was
submitted. Your request will be processed based on space availability according to the
information you have made available on your request.
As a reminder, Requests to Move are not a guarantee that you will be moved. The requests
are made on a first come first serve basis as vacancies occur. We will contact you through
your Lander email if we are able to fulfill your request.
Remember – Once a request to move has been submitted, the request will be acted upon as
space becomes available. If you decide you no longer wish to move, it is imperative that
you send your cancellation request to our e-mail address [email protected]. If not, you
will be expected to move if you have been notified that your request has been fulfilled.
This request remains active for the entire 2011-2012 academic year unless you cancel
your request.
*Your current room assignment will remain in effect unless your Request to Move is granted*
