The educational aspects are integrated within the framework of the board game to quickly attract students’ interest and provide them a relaxed setting for learning. Since the game was developed in 2008, it has been placed in classrooms in over 40 states across the country. Page 2 of 8 Choice and Chance Finance First Interstate Foundation Choice and Chance Finance was developed in 2008 by the Drury University Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team, of which Molly Rose Fehringer was a member. SIFE is a global non-profit organization for college students. Student teams develop projects to create economic opportunity by teaching concepts related to free market economics, business ethics, entrepreneurship, personal finance, and success skills. Drury SIFE completes 27 projects each year and Choice & Chance Finance is just one of those. In 2009, Molly Rose Fehringer formed a partnership between Drury SIFE and the First Interstate Foundation to bring Choice and Chance to Montana. Future projects for the partnership include the development of online educational resources, coming soon. Game play takes about 45-60 minutes when paired with the lesson plan. The board is printed on mouse pad material, which makes it easy to fold and store and also muffles the sound of the die for a quiet classroom experience. All game boards come packaged with instructions, the accompanying lesson plan, and a ledger to be copied and used by all students. A package of 5 game boards costs $120 and accommodates up to 30 students. Individual game boards cost $30 each. Both prices include shipping. Games can be ordered through Molly Rose Fehringer.
