How to Score a Netball Match in the LTNL
The role of the scorers is to record the goals scored and advise the umpires who has the
centre pass during the game (if required).
Odds and Evens – Decides Centre Pass

Team A has won the coin ‘toss’ and they choose to take the first
centre pass.

The scorer therefore puts an ‘E’ for EVENS in the 1 quarter box
next to Team A as they will have the first centre, and an ‘O’ for
ODDS for Team B.
The score of Nil is an even number, so Team A take the first centre
pass.

When a goal is scored, cross out the appropriate number, calculate
the next centre pass, i.e 5 + 9 = 14, which is an even number,
therefore the next centre pass will be Team A.
Ensure that
both scorers agree the score.
