TOWN OF MARLBOROUGH, N.H.
CERTIFICATE OF RIGHT TO INTERMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the Town of Marlborough, a New Hampshire
municipal corporation, with its main place of business at 236 Main Street, Marlborough, County
of Cheshire, State of New Hampshire, by and through its CEMETERY TRUSTEES, duly
authorized, in consideration of $_____ paid by _____________________ in full, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, granted, sell and convey unto the ___ Right To Interment
grave(s), herein described as lot, at __________________ Cemetery. Said lot shall be used for
human burial (includes ashes) and for no other purpose and shall be subject to such rules as are,
or may be established by the Town of Marlborough Cemetery Trustees, Board of Selectmen, or
other lawful authority of said Town of Marlborough, New Hampshire, pertaining to said
Cemetery.
Pursuant to RSA 289:18, if a burial space or spaces have remained unused for a period of 50
years without improvement it may be subject to forfeiture or termination of the rights and interest
of the owner. A copy of the Town of Marlborough Cemetery Ordinance with specific conditions
is attached for reference.
This Right To Inter may not be transferred or assigned to any person or persons not residing in
the Town of Marlborough.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said granted premises with all privileges to the same belonging,
to the aforesaid __________________, his/her/their heirs and assigns for the purpose and in the
manner above stated.
