Goals of Coaches
▸To help young women develop strong moral character
▸To develop athletes who have individual responsibility
and TEAM accountability.
▸Develop love for volleyball, respect for teammates, and
to be self-motivated
▸To encourage a lifetime participation in physical
exercise.
▸To win by developing a TEAM of champions.
Expectations of the Athlete
1.Maintain good academic standing.
2.Be a positive example
3.Maintain good training procedures
4.Attend ALL practices and games.
5.Properly care for all equipment used in practice

PArent Expectations
Parents are a part of this team too! Here's a few guidelines for parents:
1. Support the entire program from HPMS to HPHS.

responsibilities to the team.
4. Do not undermine the coach's authority.
5. Do not coach from the stands. You are a spectator.
6. Share in the fun!! Bring friends and family to the games..."out cheer the
competition!"
7. Try and take your daughter to several of the High School volleyball
games to support the program.

Playing Time
▸Our goal is to provide adequate playing time so
each athlete can develop to their full potential.
▸Please keep playing-related discussions
between student-athletes and coaches.
Rotations and Playing Time
In volleyball, playing time is typically split up by
who plays front row and back row. So, girls will be
subbed in and out based on when they go from
one to the other.
There is no way to give equal playing time because
their time on the court is directly related to how
long they stay in each rotation. Not every girl can
play the whole time every game.
