YOUTH HOCKEY LEAGUE – We Play for Fun!
We are one of the only outdoor ice rinks in the Chicago land area playing in the fresh air.
League Details:




All Games are played at the Elmhurst YMCA & start the week of November 4
No check league with equal playing time for all players
30 ice times for the season
Our House league is different than other leagues and does not include
extra fees such as; uniform fees, USA Hockey fees, and mandatory fundraising

Mites 6-8 yr
Squirts 9-10 yr
Pee Wee 11-12 yr
Bantam 13-15 yr
Fee $370 Member/$510 Non member
(Includes: Jersey, Hockey socks & 30 ice times)
SCOOTERS
Age 4-6 yr




An introduction to hockey fun for both boys and girls.
A YMCA staff directed curriculum of learning and fun
The Y emphasizes beginning hockey, skating and stick skills.
Child must be able to skate forward.
Saturdays 10-10:45 a.m. AND/OR Mondays 4:50-5:35 p.m.
Fee: $78 M/$156 NM for Session I
Fee: $104 M/$208 NM for Session II
MIDGETS
Age 16-17 yr old




Program is designed for the player who aged out of our House league
This is a no check scrimmage that takes place once a week.
Bring a light and dark jersey and we will change teams each week.
Full Equipment is required, including neck guards and mouth guard.
Fee: $84 M/$120 NM for Session I
Fee: $112 M/$160 NM for Session II
NOVICE HOCKEY
Age 21 & Up



Learn and play Hockey in a non-competitive environment
Participants need their own full equipment
Designed for players with at least one year hockey/skate experience
Friday 10:10-11:40pm
Fee: $90 M/$180 NM for Session I
Fee: $90 M/$180 NM for Session II

Ice Rink Open House
$0 Joiner Fee all weekend through Oct. 8th
First 200 Players get a free water bottle
Register and meet the rink staff, see the new boards,
enjoy hot dogs and get pictures on the Zamboni
(bring your cameras)

Join the YMCA with a
Youth or Family Membership.
Here’s your chance to get your child a 1year
youth membership at the YMCA. If you pay a
onetime $50.00 joining fee (waived the
weekend of the open house through Oct. 8) and
$21 a month, the total cost would be $252yr.
Why get a membership, because, it is a savings
of $140 off of hockey, and your child can enjoy
free open skate, discounts on hockey clinics,
spring hockey and new fall hockey in 2014.
Also, open gym, swimming, and other exciting
YMCA events all year long are included in the
