UTILITY DOCUMENTATION
The Password Reset/Unlock User Tool is a powerful utility that enables you to view and
perform specific actions for the users at your organization. It is the best place to check
your login and token assignments, and should be consulted before requesting any
changes to your user list. This utility is only available to specific designated users at an
organization.
Launching the Tool
Click on the application Password Reset in your Citrix XenApp or 2X window:
The following window will appear, listing the users in your organization:
You can tell in the title bar which environment you are accessing – either the Citrix
XenApp environment or the legacy 2X environment. This can be especially helpful for
organizations who are in the process of migrating from 2X to Citrix XenApp.
You can sort the Login, Full Name, Email, and Token Number columns by clicking on the
column header.
You can print the list of users by going to File > Print.
If you need to make any changes to what you see in the User List, please open a TASK
ticket and the RAMP team will be happy to assist with those changes.

Change Password Button
To reset a user’s password, highlight the user and click the Change Password button. If
the account or token happens to be locked, resetting the password will also unlock the
account and the token.
You will get the following response - click OK.
An email will be sent to the user’s email address listed in the tool. You also have an
option to have the email copied to you by clicking in the Email Me box on the utility.
Unlock Button
To unlock an account (without a password change), highlight the user and click Unlock.
Token Sync
Occasionally, tokens will be out of sync from the server and will require re-syncing.
Please follow the instructions on the tab to sync the token, and then have the user try
logging in again.
