PENTENTIAL SERVICE – December 7th at 7:00 p.m.
24 Hour Adoration Sheet (December 2nd) is at the back of the Church. All time slots must be filled
by November 30th or it will be cancelled.
Swiss Men’s Choir – Thursday, December 8th at 8:00 p.m.
Enchanted Christmas Afternoon of Music - Saturday, December 10th at 12:30 p.m.
The Knights of Columbus will again be making the “KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMS” magnets
available starting on December 3rd. Cost is $5.00 and both English (Limited quantity) and French will
be available at the Grocery Card Table.
The Knights of Columbus Annual Pie Sale will be held after all masses on December 3rd & 4th.
Proceeds will be donated to the Mark Pickup Van Fund.
Books of Remembrance
The Church devotes the month of November to prayer for the Holy Souls, those who have died in grace
yet failed to make satisfaction for all their sins. Praying for the Holy Souls is a Christian obligation.
Please write the names of your family and friends in this book, praying for them as you inscribe their
names. We will pray for all those named throughout the month. If you wish to offer a Mass for family or
friends who have died, visit the parish office.
Mandatory Parent’s Meeting for the Children’s Christmas Eve Pageant will be held after the 11:00
.am. Mass on November 27th.

Prolife is be sponsoring an hour of prayer every week for an hour after the 7:00 p.m. mass on
Wednesdays.
L'Arche Christmas Pageant
L’Arche Association of Edmonton will hold its annual Christmas Pageant on Monday, December 12, at
7 p.m. at St. Thomas d’Aquin Church, 8410 - 89 Street. This is a beautiful L’Arche Edmonton
Christmas tradition as members of our community with developmental disabilities re-enact the nativity
scene in full costume accompanied by traditional Christmas carol singing. There is no charge for this
event, but we invite guests to bring a non-perishable food item for the Edmonton Food Bank. Following
the pageant, join us for refreshments and the opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts at the popular Day

Evening of Advent Song & Reflection
What does Advent mean to you? If you're looking for a way to make Advent more meaningful for you
and your family, join the OLPH Music Ministry on Sunday, December 4, at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of
Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park. An ecumenical event for the
whole family. Donations for the Strathcona Food Bank will be gratefully accepted.

Nativity of our Lord, at a weekend retreat with Bishop David Motiuk of the Ukrainian
Eparchy, December 2-4 at Providence Renewal Centre. The Nativity icon offers a unique invitation into
Advent through examination of its major figures and features - Mary, Joseph, the angels, the cave.

We served lunch to 57 individuals, 200 of our
infamous TOURTIÈRES sold out in 8 minutes and
our huge BAKE SALE brought in $2,198.50.
EVERYONE’s generosity of time, energy and items
donated for the sale were truly what made this
Bazaar the huge success it was!
