
Respected Division –L Vice President – Marketing, Area Governor, Distinguished
Guests and my dear fellow toastmasters, a very good evening to you all. And I
welcome you all to the ______th session of ABC Toastmasters Club meeting.

Before I start the meeting, I would like to remind you all to keep your hand phone in
silent mode or switch off. <Pause for 3 seconds>

Mission of the Toastmaster Club is to provide supportive and positive learning
experience, in which members are empowered to develop communication and
leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

I also remind you, during the session please refrain from talking about sex, religion and
politics.


Toastmaster of the Day - Script
Good evening fellow toastmasters and honored guests.
It is my privilege and pleasure to welcome you to today’s
meeting of the ABC Toastmasters Club.
I'd like to extend a special welcome to our guests who
honor us with their presence today.
For the benefit of guests who may be attending their first
Toastmasters Meeting I would like to give a short history
of how Toastmasters came about.

Over View of todays session
Ladies and Gentlemen, There are 3 main parts of our Toastmasters club
meeting.
Firstly, the Prepared Speech session: we have members who will be
delivering their project speeches based on the 10 projects from the basic CC
Manual as well as the Advanced Manuals which form the backbone of the
aforementioned Toastmasters international program.
Secondly, the Table Topics Session: where members can practice thinking
and speaking on their feet with little to no prior preparation. Table topic
speakers have 1 to 2 minutes to speak on a topic that will be given to them
on-the-spot.
Finally, in part 3: our General Evaluator will preside over the Evaluation
Session where all that has been said and done today will be evaluated.
