Mission Statement:
The purpose of Fad Watch is to promote originality and selfconfidence through the enrichment of fashion. Fashion is a form of selfexpression that comes from the inside and shows on the outside. Fad
Watch targets people of all cultures, sizes, genders, socioeconomic
backgrounds, races, social preferences, and personal beliefs. Fad Watch
was founded to acknowledge nutrition, Fitness, and the beauty within a
person. The Fashion Club recognizes the community as an important
aspect in our mission to uplift the impoverished. As our motto states,
“the world is watching you, so let your fashion radiate universally.”

Philanthropy: To promote awareness of eating disorders.

Article I. – Name of organization:

Article III. – Purpose, aims, functions of the organization (Mission Statement)
The purpose of Fad Watch is to promote originality and self-confidence through
the enrichment of fashion. Fashion is a form of self- expression that comes from the
inside and shows on the outside. Fad Watch targets people of all cultures, sizes, genders,
socioeconomic backgrounds, races, social preferences, and personal beliefs. Fad Watch
was founded to acknowledge nutrition, Fitness, and the beauty within a person. The
Fashion Club recognizes the community as an important aspect of our mission to uplift

Article IV. – Membership Requirements:

Must be a full – time student at BGSU

Cumulative GPA must be at least a 2.25.

Everyone is welcome to join (Non- discriminatory)
o Students may become a member by attending general body meetings
or expressing interest to any of the board members.

Membership dues are $10.00 a year
Article V. – Officers

All officers hold position for one school year, until not eligible (Impeached,
no longer a full time student, fails to meet GPA requirement, or resign)

The organization must have open elections to all members, in the beginning of
each school year

Possible impeachment if 75% of members vote to remove/ replace officer

All Officers and Chairpersons must be PRESENT for every meeting of the
organization, unless they contact the PRESIDENT prior to their absence.

All Officers and Chairpersons must attend at least ONE event given by
ANOTHER organization, and provide documentation of attendance.

All Officers and Chairpersons must promote the advancement of the
organization through the Purpose/Mission Statement at ALL TIMES.

OFFICERS:
 President: This officer is responsible for heading every meeting of this
organization, being a liaison between other organizations on campus,
representing the organization in the BGSU community and abroad, and
promoting the continuous growth of the organization.
 Vice President: This officer is responsible for heading the meeting of
the organization in the absence of the President, and making sure that
every committee is doing the necessary tasks.
 Treasurer: This officer is responsible for recording and keeping track
of the finances of the organization, writing grant proposals, and
working in conjunction with the Fundraising and Events Committee
Chairpersons.
 Recording Secretary: This officer is responsible for accurately
recording the minutes of every meeting of the organization, keeping an
accurate number of members attending each meeting, and making sure
that every member receives these minutes.

 Assistant Secretary: This officer is responsible for accurately recording
the minutes of meetings in the absence of the Recording secretary. It
will be your responsibility to make sure that every member receives
the minutes. Also, your job will consist of assisting the president with
sending out emails about upcoming events and meetings.
 Photographer: This officer is responsible for documenting the events
that take place within the organization, and creating a memorabilia.
 Webmaster: This officer is responsible for creating, managing, and
updating the website of this organization.
 Advertising Chairperson: This committee chair is responsible for
publicizing the organization throughout the BGSU community and
aboard, and must attend every event that markets the organization (i.e.
Campus fairs, Organization fairs).
 Fundraising Chairperson: This committee chair is responsible for
creating means of raising the necessary funds for the organization, and
working with the Financial Secretary and Events Committee
Chairperson.
 Community Service Chairperson: This committee chair is responsible
for organizing service projects and events that will aid the BGSU
community and abroad, and to also make sure that the organization
supports its philanthropy.
 Events Chairperson: This committee chair is responsible for
organizing, developing, and managing events that the organization
does throughout the BGSU community and abroad, and must work
with the Financial Secretary and Fundraising Committee Chairperson.
 Membership Chairperson: This committee chair is responsible for
allocating members for the development of the organization, and must
attend every event that markets the organization (i.e. Campus fairs,
Organization fairs).
Article VI. – Advisor

The advisor must support the development of the organization, be knowledgeable
about all sources and events happening on campus, work closely with the
President and all other members of the organization, and must attend events and
meetings sponsored by the organization. The advisor will hold position until not
eligible (resign, impeached, not a staff member at BGSU) and the officers will
select him/her by voting.
Article VII. – Meeting

Meetings will be held twice a month

Emergency meetings can only be called by the PRESIDENT
