The play is about the return of Christ and the Biblical truth that every believer will stand before God and give account for what they did with the time, talents, and treasure they were entrusted with. Throughout winter conference, students were able to fully immerse themselves and encounter Jesus Christ in different creative and experiential ways. On Dec. 31st, students participated in “Encounter: Compassion,” by serving in various projects and outreaches to the surrounding Greensboro communities. Throughout the day, hundreds of families in need received food and products and some heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. Encounter 2010 came to powerful end New Years Eve night when more than a thousand students and staff joined together to pray in the new year and celebrate what God did in 2010 and what he will do in 2011.
