COACH “SPEED DATING”
INFORMATION & SIGN UP
ADHD coaching is amazingly effective in helping adults with ADHD manage their ADHD and their lives! Many
ADDA members work with ADHD coaches but struggle to find the right “fit.” Creating an effective partnership
between an adult with ADHD and an ADHD coach is essential, and requires an investigation on both sides. No
other event brings so many adults with ADHD together under one roof, so the ADDA Conference provides the
ideal opportunity for clients and coaches to meet, greet and connect, or not. To make this process fun, we’ve
created Coach “Speed Dating!”
ADHD Coaches have the opportunity to connect with adults with ADHD seeking your services. Participation is
open to all credentialed coaches who are members of ADDA and who will attend the ADDA Conference July
24-27, 2014. “Speed Dating” will take place on Friday, July 25, 2014 in the late afternoon/early evening.
There is $25 participation fee per coach. Learn more below and sign up today at the ADDA booth!
Coaches Speed Dating Details
• This session will be hosted by Dr. Kirsten Milliken.
• Participating coaches must be members of ADDA and be certified by a credentialing body.
• Coaches will submit their bio and business summary for inclusion in the session brochure distributed to all
attendees.
• Coaches will offer 2 free introductory sessions to attendees on a first-come, first serve basis (for use

following the “speed dating.”)
Coaches may offer giveaways or incentives for the session to encourage attendance.
Attendees may sign up for no more than 2 free coaching sessions.
Coach session sign-up sheets will be located on a table in the room.
Attendees and coaches are both encouraged to bring business cards.
Structure:
I. “Speed Dating” begins with 10 minutes for mingling.
II. When ready to begin, the moderator will introduce herself and explain the rules for the session.
* Coaches remain at their assigned tables during the session. Attendees will move between coaches.
* Each round will be 3 minutes long - a 1 minute warning will be given to wrap up each round.
* Between rounds there is 30 seconds for attendees to move to the next table.
* Each attendee has the opportunity to meet each coach.
* During each “date,” business cards and/or information may be exchanged for a follow up meeting.
III. At the end of the speed dating rounds, there is a giveaway followed by an opportunity for attendees to
sign up for a free consultation with up to 2 coaches.
IV. At the end of the event, participants are welcome to continue mingling, making connections, and setting
future appointments.
