Introduction
Frasers Property Australia (FPA) is a purpose-driven organisation seeking a signature not-for-profit
organisation with whom to collaborate to make a difference in the world. To do this, we want to
develop a long term partnership as a means to bring to life our recently adopted Community
Investment Strategy.
We intend to invest both cash and in-kind resources, including skilled and non-skilled volunteers
and other resources, potentially including the use of space within our developments.
This document provides further context in relation to Frasers Property; our objectives for a not-forprofit partnership; and an outline for an Expression of Inspiration from interested organisations.

Expressions of Inspiration
We are seeking submissions from organisations that meet the following criteria.
The organisation must be:
 A registered charity or not-for-profit in Australia with DGR status.
 Able to provide services aligned to the core theme physical and mental wellbeing.
 Willing to align publicly with Frasers Property and its brand.
 Able to provide us with quantitative and qualitative evaluation information about program/delivery
outcomes.

The organisation must not be:
 A government or quasi-government agency.
 An overtly religious or political organisation.
 Exclusively a single gender focus.
If your organisation meets this criteria, please review the information provided. Applications open 28
February 2017 and close 5pm, 28 March 2017. Prepare an Expression of Inspiration (EOI) by
using the form provided in Appendix A.
Please note that Frasers Property are not obligated through this EOI to engage in partnership
discussions with any organisation making a submission.
We will, however, respond by the end of April to all of those who make submissions on whether we
wish to progress and develop a partnership. Organisations which are asked to provide further
development of their proposals will be recompensed for their investment of time.

Our objectives
FPA is seeking a signature partner with whom to work on developing a new project or program
aligned with our core theme physical and mental wellbeing.
Our objectives:
Invitation for Expressions of Inspiration (EOI)
 To make a real and measurable difference in the area of physical and mental wellbeing,
particularly with stakeholders and communities with which we operate.
 To engage our staff in a signature program, through a combination of sharing stories of impact;
through seeking additional opportunities at various levels of the business e.g. in our community
development work; and through staff volunteering and matched-giving opportunities.
 To increase our brand profile through a signature partnership project or program that allows us
to better demonstrate what we stand for as a company by what we do, not just what we say.
5
What we can offer
We can offer the following contributions and resources:
 An annual cash contribution from our Foundation of between $0.3m to $0.75m over 3 years.
 Space and venues at some of our residential and/or commercial developments e.g. park space
for staging events and activities.
 Potential for additional variable cash funding through our employee matched-giving program.
 Potential for additional support through our Community Development Framework and
Community Development Plans and programs for individual residential communities.
 Volunteer time – both unskilled and potentially skilled volunteering based on opportunities
provided.
 Communication and promotion of the partnership, both through our staff and ongoing marketing
communications.
Frasers Property Australia also makes significant capital investments through our normal business
activities that deliver social and community infrastructure with long term asset cycles.
6
What we are looking for
 A program that we can talk about, which is linked to our unifying theme of physical and mental
wellbeing.
 A program that bridges or merges the relationship between physical and mental health (as we
already support a physical health program for our staff and in our residential communities, retail
developments, and office and industrial developments).
 A program that includes activities that engage staff in an appropriate way (e.g. matched giving
partner; volunteer opportunities across different office hubs).
 A program that has opportunities to be delivered within our new and existing residential
communities, which can adjoin the existing Community Development Framework; but has
universal benefits which resonate with employees and stakeholders beyond our residential
activities.
 We can speak about the program as a signature partnership under the Frasers Property
Australia brand.
 Have the potential to be leveraged and enhanced by contributions from others, but in ways that
are consistent with the core theme of physical and mental wellbeing.
