Doncaster IDCR PoC Update May 2017

Integrated Digital Care Record
Proof of Concept
Update - May 2017
Introduction
• The requirement for a Doncaster Integrated Digital Care Record
(IDCR) was clearly identified in the Local Digital Roadmap and the
Intermediate Care Case for Change
• It was agreed that a Proof of Concept for the IDCR would be
developed focussed on the Rapid Response Pathway
• We agreed with our partner organisation that the CCG would take
the lead on the procurement of the Proof of Concept solution
• A budget was secured from the BCF fund and CCG non-recurrent
monies
• Support for the procurement of the system was engaged from
Channel 3 Consulting

Very positive engagement with clinicians, service managers and technical staff. All
keen to support the process and setting ambitious goals for the IDCR
