Protect unprotected
The main target of this MP mission is to capture and clear all marked positions.
In each position is located enemy bunker filled with enemy units with machineguns.
So, this bunker is the primary objective of each task.
For the first, you need to capture its surroundings, then clear the crew in the bunker and
last but not least, blow up this heavy concrete building using charges.
Once the bunker is in ruins, your actual task is accomplished.
But take care. In the surroundings of each bunker are also other guards and randomly
spawned units (APCs, tanks, planes and helicopters). And also resistance NAPA guards
were reported. Beat them or just run away to the safety.
And why "Protect unprotected"?
Because you will be often using your primary vehicles – MEDEVAC, SERVICE and MHQ.
Protect them against enemy fire at all costs, because once the enemy will destroy your
MHQ, you failed and the mission will finish early.
Protect also your SERVICE and MEDEVAC vehicles, else you will not be able to purchase
any AI units or empty vehicles and once your MEDEVAC vehicle will be destroyed, you
will have a serious problem with the respawning.
So, the motto is "Protect and Cooperate".

Adjustable parameters
At the start of the game (selecting playing roles) you may set two basic parameters.
The first is setting of daytime with weather and the second much important, is the
number of active tasks in the mission.
Daytime/weather setting
With this setting you may adjust the exact daytime and weather, which will be present
during the gameplay. This is meant of course only for the weather. The day and night
will be changed in normal intervals.
Available options are:
• Day – clear
• Day – overcast
• Day - uncertain weather (default value)
• Night – clear
• Night – overcast
• Night - uncertain weather
Number of tasks
With this setting you can adjust the length of whole battle. If you leave the setting on a
default value, only one (first) task will be created. Once this task will be completed,
another one (next) will be created and once the second one will be completed, then the
last third will be randomly created. Once the last task will be finished, mission will
successfully finish.
Available options are:
• 1 task
• 2 tasks
• 3 tasks (default value)
• 4 tasks
• 5 tasks

Main GUI
Once you hit the "T" key during the gameplay, a complex GUI will appear.
Now you will see a few small windows with various labels, buttons, lists, map etc.
Each window will show specific information according to the actual situation around the
player. If you want to close this GUI, just hit the "ESC" key.
Basic data
This small window contains only two basic information lables and two cells with values.
The first one is called Player which represents the nickname1 of the current player and
the second one called Points, contains current ammount of points2 received during the
game. These points are achieved by the eliminating of the enemy or resistance units
(troops, vehicles, tanks, aerial).
Ammount of points remain at the same value after the purchasing process. This means
that once the player will reach the value of 33 points, this value will remain the same
also if he will purchase 3 additional AI troops and 5 tanks.
Only in case of the elimination of own units (soldiers-vehicles) can be this value
decreased.

Fast travel
Here are available three buttons marked as MHQ, MEDEVAC and SERVICE.
Buttons are visible only if the player is close to the one of the three vehicles.
For example, if the player is close to the MHQ, only MEDEVAC and SERVICE buttons will
be visible. When he select the traveling on the SERVICE vehicle position, he will be
immediatelly transfered to its position3 and then will be available buttons MHQ and
MEDEVAC. To use the Fast travel function you don’t need to have any amount of points.
Terrain details
This window contains two sliders for the adjusting of View distance and Terrain grid.
With view distance slider you can adjust the distance visibility in the mission, but
sometimes the maximum distance will be driven by the setting on the server.
With terrain grid slider you are able to disable the grass and smooth the surface.
Use these settings sensibly as they are like cheats.
Map
Here you may see the current situation on the map while you are switched in the main
GUI. Here you may use the mouse (to move and zoom map) as in the standard map.
Troops
This window is the first window assigned for the purchasing of units and vehicles.
As the label shows, here you may purchase the troops.
The list is blank by default, but once you are close to the SERVICE vehicle, will be
automatically filled with pre-defined types of units.
Click on the one of the units in the list and then click on the button "Buy".
If you have enough point on your account, unit will be created close to the SERVICE
vehicle and will be added to your group.
If you don’t have enough points or your group is currently full, you will see warning
message in the radio log and no other unit will be created.
Rules for purchasing of troops (player + group):
•
no additional soldier(s) allowed: 0-4 points (player only)
•
group of 1 soldier: 5-9 points (2 units in total)
•
group of 2 soldiers: 10-14 points (3 units in total)
•
group of 3 soldiers: 15-29 points (4 units in total)
•
group of 4 soldiers: 30-39 points (5 units in total)
•
group of 7 soldiers: 40-69 points (8 units in total)
•
group of 9 soldiers: 70-99 points (10 units in total)
•
group of 14 soldiers: 100-149 points (15 units in total)
•
group of 19 soldiers: over 150 points (20 units in total)
After the purchase, points aren’t subtracted from the current player’s account.

Vehicles and armoured
In this window you are able to select and purchase any empty transport vehicles, APCs
or tanks.
The purchase method is the same as for the Troops window.
Once you select the vehicle from the list, again click on the assigned "Buy" button and if
you have enough points on your account, empty vehicle(s) will be created near the
SERVICE vehicle.
Minimum points for vehicles is 10 and minimum points for armoured vehicles is 30
points. After the purchase, points aren’t subtracted from the current player’s account.
Air forces
The third window for the purchasing of items in the mission is assigned for the aerial
vehicles – aircrafts and helicopters.
Once you will select the assigned vehicle, click on the assigned button "Buy" and if you
have enough points on your account, an empty vehicle (plane/chopper) will be created
on the runway, close to the base.
This means that you may have the SERVICE vehicle in the huge distance from the base
and the aerial vehicle will be always created on the runway.
Minimum points are 50.
After the purchase, points aren’t subtracted from the current player’s account.

Special vehicle actions GUI
Once you hit the "U" key during the gameplay, another complex GUI will appear Special vehicle actions. Items in this special GUI are available only for the three special
vehicles (MHQ, SERVICE, MEDEVAC), because they are related only to them.
If you want to close this GUI, just hit the "ESC" key.
Unflip vehicle
This useful feature can be used to unflip your vehicle. Your vehicle can be turned on the
roof when you hit some huge stone, wall of stones or trees.
There is no special request for executing of this action.
Button for each vehicle is available only when the player is close to the selected
vehicle(s).
Cover
With this function, you are available to cover the selected vehicle under the camo net.
You need to have at least 5 points on your account to launch this process.
Vehicle must be stopped with engine off, else you will see a warning message.

Ammo point
When the player is close to the MHQ, this additional function will be available.
You will be able to create the ammo point if points on your account reached limit 5, else
you will see the warning message in the group radio channel that you don’t have
enough points. Vehicle must be stopped with engine off.
Each created ammo point will have the same amount and types of weapons and
magazines inside.
There’s no limitation about the number of created ammo points.
Medipoint
When the player is close to the MEDEVAC vehicle, this additional function will be
available. Button for the creating of medical tent will be visible and you need to have on
your account at least 5 points to launch the assembly.
Once it’s done, mediacal tent will be created behind the MEDEVAC vehicle.
There’s no limitation about the number of created medipoints.
Special vehicles
MHQ
This is your "TOP CLASS" vehicle. Protect this at any costs. In case of emergency use
servicemen to fix any damage and don't forget to use the camo net whenever is
possible.
This vehicle is primary used for respawning of all vehicles (except MEDEVAC and
SERVICE vehicles) which were available at the start of the mission on your base.
Other vehicles purchased during the game aren’t respawnable.
Respawn time for the basic vehicles is 90 seconds.

MEDEVAC
This mobile ambulance is used as mobile respawn point for all playable units.
You will be always respawned here. Other purchased and non-playable units aren’t
respawnable.
Respawn time for the players (playable units) is 15 seconds.
Anyway, take maximum care also about this vehicle, because once will be destroyed,
your respawn point will be moved to the current position of your MHQ – this vehicle will
be now used as the mobile respawn vehicle.
SERVICE
This service vehicle is used for the purchasing of all new units, transport vehicles,
armoured vehicles, etc. So take care about it, else your task to destroy enemy bunker
will be very hard.
You can also use this vehicle for the fixing of all damages on other vehicles.

How to …
Respawn
All the playable characters are always respawned on the MEDEVAC vehicle (Mobile
Respawn Position) which is represented by the ambulance.
Mobile respawn position for the vehicles is represented by the MHQ vehicle and here
are respawned only vehicles that are present in the game from the beginning (except
helicopters).
All other purchased vehicles will not be respawned.
MHQ and MEDEVAC vehicles are fully independent
Weapons and magazines for playable characters will stay in last configuration after the
respawn. They are not loaded to defaults. So all the weapons and magazines which will
have the player before the respawn, will have also after the respawn.
Ammo points
Each player can create ammo point close to the MHQ position. Ammo point is then
represented by several ammunition crates.
There are available some additional magazines and special weapons.
Action is available through the special menu for vehicles ("U" key) if the player is close
to the MHQ vehicle.
Minimal amout of points for creating of Ammo point is 5.
Number of created positions isn't limited.
First aid
If you have in your equipment any bandage, use it. If not, MEDEVAC vehicle can be used
as mobile Medipoint.
With MEDEVAC vehicle you can create also static Medipoint which can be located close
to the battle than MEDEVAC vehicle.
Action is available through the special menu for vehicles ("U" key) if the player is close
to the MEDEVAC vehicle.
Minimal amout of points for creating of Medipoint is 5.
Number of created tents isn't limited.
Camo nets
At any time during playing you can partially hide your MHQ, MEDEVAC or SERVICE
vehicle under the camo net.
It's delicate and simple structure, but is especially effective against observation from the
air.
Action for the creating of camo net is available through the special menu for vehicles
("U" key) if the player is close to the one of three vehicles - MHQ, MEDEVAC or SERVICE.
Minimal amout of points for creating of camo net is 5.
Number of created camo nets isn't limited.

Unflip vehicles
Once an important vehicle will turns on the roof, or it will not be able to move due to
blocking of some obstacle, use a special action to unflip the vehicle.
Action is available through the special menu for vehicles ("U" key) if the player is close
to the assigned vehicle.
Fast travel
To accelerate the transfer between important vehicles you can use the fast travel
function.
Action is available through the main menu ("T" key) if the player is close to the one of
the main vehicles.
Then he can be moved to any of the two remaining.
It’s recommended to be out of the vehicle.
Buying new units
During the game you can buy additional vehicles or other AI units in the SERVICE vehicle.
Action is available through the main menu ("T" key) if the player is close to this vehicle.
Then the player will see all the lists for purchasing of units, vehicles, armoured or aerial
vehicles.
Troops, vehicles and armoured units are created directly close to the SERVICE vehicle.
Aerial vehicles are always spawned at airport runway where can be picked up by
players/AI.
Artillery support
Close to the base on the airport is located a small artillery battery. This is available for all
players/AI.
For managed shelling is necessary that at least one player took one of the artillery
positions and then he must launch the artillery computer from the action menu.
Fire on the designated target is then controlled by using of this computer controlled by
the player/players.

Optional tasks
During the playing you may encounter various optional tasks. These mainly serves to
accrue additional points needed to purchase the units and equipment.
Optional tasks aren't related with the main tasks.
New optional task is generated only after the previous task is completed.
Every position for every new task is selected randomly, so once you may find two
different tasks on the same place.
Variations for optional tasks:
• ammo depot
• position with troops/vehicles
• AA systems
• armoured group
• fuel storage
Possible scenarios for ending
Successful
Number of all tasks was reached / all assigned bunkers were destroyed – no matter if
any optional task is still active
Failed
Your MHQ was destroyed – no matter if your MEDEVAC or SERVICE vehicles are (not)
damaged/destroyed
