BIOGRAPHY
• He started to play Tennis when he was 15 years old in the high
school as an amateur, after that he had tennis lessons at college and
he participated in tournaments. College's tennis team played very
well and they took the top league and they finished the season on
third position. In tournaments, he played the final two times and he
won the championship twice. He participated in another tournament
and he played quarter-finals. After that he had to make a hard
choice college or tennis, and he chose the school. He took tennis as a
second plan.
BIOGRAPHY
• However, he didn’t give up tennis completely and he had
certifications of coach and referee. And he also
participated in some private tournaments and he played
a few finals. Finally, in 2015-2016 education year, he is
playing in Istanbul Teacher Tennis Cup Tournament.
• He is still a player of Erzurum Tennis Club and his coach
is Hasan Polat.
QUESTIONS
1- When did you start doing sport and why?
I started playing tennis because, I watched tennis in
my childhood and I loved it. But I started to play
when I was in high school because I didn’t have any
chance to play tennis before that time.
2- How important is sport in your life?
Tennis is very important for me. Actually, the sport is very important
for everybody because it is important for health.
3- What physical benefits have you got from sport?
Thanks to tennis, my muscles have improved. Tennis made me
crusader. My mental strength has improved.
4- How do you think individual sports may improve self-esteem and build
self-confidence?
5- Has sport helped you to have friends and improve your social life?
Tennis has a contribution in my social and school life. My self-esteem and selfconfidence have increased. In my life, tennis is indispensable. Now, I don’t have
a tennis carrier, but in the future I want my kids to have a tennis carrier.
