A message from Paul Dolan,
Owner/Chairman/Chief Executive Officer
Dear Indians Season Ticket Holder,
I hope you’re as excited for the 2017 baseball season as I am. The
team, front office and everyone involved with the Cleveland Indians
are building off the momentum of last year – and what a year it was!
We were host to one of the most notable World Series in Major League
history, and while the outcome may not have been in our favor, we are
certainly proud of the hard work, effort and absolute dedication from
everyone on the team.
Our pitching rotation continued to be one of the best in the league, and
after some injuries to key starters, our bullpen proved its strength.
Corey Kluber was once again a contender for the AL Cy Young award. A combined 3.72 team ERA is the
lowest combined figure by any AL team over the past four seasons since 2013.
Our defense in the field was highlighted by Francisco Lindor being named 2016 Rawlings Platinum Glove
winner as the AL’s best overall defender. In addition, Lindor also won a 2016 Gold Glove at shortstop and
was named 2016 Sports Illustrated Rising Star of the Year.
The team was, of course, guided by the fantastic leadership of manager Terry Francona. With his flawless
management of the bullpen throughout the playoffs, it came as little surprise to have Francona named
the 2016 Manager of the Year by Baseball America. He has now guided his teams to 12 consecutive
winning season, the longest streak by any MLB manager since Joe Torre (14, 1996 – 2009).
We’re excited to have Tito and the majority of our team returning this season. In fact, 21 of 25 players
from our 2016 World Series roster are set to return this year. And we made some exciting additions in
the off season including signing Edwin Encarnacion to a three-year contract – a deal that includes a club
option for 2020. Encarnacion is a three-time All-Star and is the only MLB player with 30+ home runs in
each of the last five seasons.
There’s even more to look forward to at Progressive Field. We were recently honored to be named the
host of the 2019 All-Star Week, featuring the 90th Midsummer Classic. This honor also coincides with
the 25th anniversary of the ballpark, a timeframe where generations of our fans have experienced
tremendous memories.
This season our sights remain on winning the World Series. And as we look to continue to build a team
capable of doing just that, we look to you – our Season Ticket Holders – for your unwavering support. You
are an integral part of the Cleveland Indians and you are a key to our success.
It is, without a doubt, going to be another exciting year, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to
Progressive Field.
Go Tribe!
Paul Dolan

Indians Policies
Ticket Ownership
The Cleveland Indians own and control all rights to Season Ticket locations. Your
location is licensed on a yearly basis subject to compliance with all payment
deadlines and the rules and regulations set forth. Season Ticket purchasing privileges
are non-transferable, meaning Season Ticket Holders may not re-assign the rights to
seats to any person or entity.
The option to renew your Season Ticket location is afforded solely to the person or
company who made the original purchase of those seats. If you relinquish your rights,
the Season Ticket location is re-assigned at the discretion of the Cleveland Indians.
Season Ticket Holder Agreement
The Cleveland Indians retain all rights to all seats at Progressive Field and reserve the
right to immediately revoke the purchasing option on any seats from ticket holders
who have been found in violation of the ticket holder agreement.
Making Payments
Payments can be made on your account by calling your dedicated Season Ticket
Service Team.

Some important things to know about ticket exchanges:
•
There is a limit of 1,000 total tickets that can be exchanged for each of the 80
games. Look for a green, yellow or red indication on each game to gauge how
many tickets are remaining for exchange. For example, a yellow indicator means
a particular game is close to reaching the maximum number of allowable
exchange tickets. Exchange tickets can run out, so you are encouraged to submit
your exchanges early.
• To ensure timely online delivery, all ticket exchange submissions must be
completed two (2) business days prior to the game date (see chart below for
details). Your new tickets are added to your My Tickets account within two (2)
days after your submission.
