Hubs for Cockpit of Europe (Ex. Rule 3.22)




France. The French Hub is at Paris.
Maritime Powers. This is the main Allied Hub, located off map in England. It supports ALL Allied Depôts & HQ Formations, except when
the Austrian Primary Hub is in play, in which case it is ignored for all purposes. The Maritime Powers Hub may be used even if an Invasion
of England (6.2) is in progress. Range to this Hub is traced to any Allied-Controlled Port in the normal manner, then add one (1) range
bracket in Summer & Fall, or two (2) range brackets in Winter & Spring. Example: the LoC from a British Depôt to Friendly-Controlled
Oostend is 12 MPs (Short range); this means the overall range will be Medium in Summer/Fall, and Long in Winter/Spring.
Austria Primary Hub. Off map at Vienna. Appears as a Reinforcement as soon as the Austro-Prussian Treaty (6.35) Strategic Event
occurs. Begins with zero (0) Preparedness. In addition, this Hub is used only if Karl von Lotharingen is on the map, and supports ALL
Allied Depôts & HQ Formations. It is ignored for all purposes otherwise.
Austrian Secondary Hub. Hub is only available if Lorraine becomes Allied-Controlled per 6.33 (French Defeat in Lorraine Strategic
Event), in which case it may be placed in any Allied-occupied Fortification within Lorraine. Once placed it may not be moved. The Hub can
be placed in any Administrative Phase after the Strategic Event occurs and begins Inactive with zero (0) Preparedness. It may only support
Austrian Depôts & HQ Formations.

Die Roll Modifiers: cumulative –1 per consecutive die roll after the first. Skipping a turn negates this DRM.
