Online Student Registration System
Background
• A new strategy for improvement of examination system
• The existing examination system is revamped to make the exam system
reliable and credible
• Online Student Registration System (OSRS) makes registration process
faster and reduces the paper trail
• OSRS helps to save time in reviewing and approving the registration
requests and manually entering the data
• OSRS offers convenient and highly efficient way to handle the workload
during the onsite students’ registration process.
• The registration process will be online, through Secure Online Access
Account for the CTSC.
Main Features of OSRS
• Secure online access for easy step-by-step registration
• Role based access and permissions
• Use of data replication and controls such as dropdown list box
and radio buttons to minimize data entry.
• Data Input Validation to minimize duplication etc.
• Saving of partially completed applications to fill out and
submit later.
• Access to previously submitted or approved applications for
resubmission.
• Option to print completed registration application forms for
paper based submissions.
Main Features of OSRS
• Alerts and Notifications for all the users.
• View and Search Filters for quick retrieval of registration
applications
• Transfer of registration application to a different Examination
Centers if required.
• Vast variety of reports containing District, Tehsil, CTSC,
Examination Centers, School, Gender and Location wise
student registration reports
• Issuance of student wise Roll Number slips.

• Computer Operations: All you need to know is how to operate a
computer, Microsoft Windows, Internet connectivity and use of web
browser, basic typing skill
• Computer Applications: Microsoft Windows, Web browser
• Hardware: Personal Computer/Laptop, Printer, Internet connection (EVO
or DSL connection)
