You are coming to Seattle Children’s Hospital for treatment, and it can be hard to know what to expect. They help with housing, transportation, and information about hospital and neighborhood services. The Seattle Ronald McDonald House is a short walk from the hospital, in a quiet neighborhood. You will leave the plane and follow signs to the Baggage Claim area. You will take an escalator, stairs or elevator to Baggage Claim. You might take a short ride on an underground train to get to Baggage Claim. You can pick up your checked luggage at the Baggage Claim area. This is a typical bedroom. The hospital driveway leads to the main patient check-in areas. The Inpatient Playroom has toys, books, movies, crafts and games you can take to your child’s room. It also has an outdoor play area and special activities for patients and siblings. The Chapel and meditation room is open 24 hours a day. It hosts regular services and events for various faiths and practices.
