The First Inaugural BLUE OCEAN CHALLENGE is a fun and exciting
36 holes golf team event where the EAST MEETS THE WEST.
Edison Wang, the Owner of Blue Ocean Golf Club and Golf Enthusiast, is a keen supporter for the
local tourism and development on the Sunshine Coast. With creative collaboration involving the
Lower Mainland golf event organizers, we are proud to present to the Sunshine Coast a fun and
exciting experience and opportunity to compete. You may represent the SUNSHINE COAST in a
friendly 36 hole match play with a Modified Ryder Cup Format against the Lower Mainland Chinese
community. The top 20 male players and top 12 female players to qualify from their area will enjoy
two days of competition and fun.
$75.00 per player

QUALIFYING FOR SUNSHINE COAST TEAM AT BLUE OCEAN GOLF CLUB

Open to all residents who live on the Sunshine Coast.

Golf Canada official handicap is required.

Play as many qualifying 18 hole rounds at the Blue Ocean Golf Club between Aug 1 and Aug 28.

Submit your top two rounds to qualify for your position on the Team.

All potential qualifiers are available to play both days August 31 & September 1.

Submit your 18 hole scores at Blue Ocean Golf Club from August 1 - August 28.

All qualifying rounds must have minimum of three players in your group.

Any qualifying round is attested by minimum of two playing partners on day of play.

All qualifying rounds submitted at the golf shop ON DAY OF PLAY in order to be considered.

Blue Ocean Golf Team announced August 29, with the top 20 male and top 12 female qualifyers.
