Habitat For Humanity of Nacogdoches is hosting our annual golf tournament fund raiser and you and your
organization are cordially invited to participate and we kindly encourage you to also consider a level of
sponsorship! Habitat has a simple mission – to build families and lives by providing a decent place to live. The
Habitat organization has been doing this for over 35 years (and over 17 years here in Nac) by providing people a
leg-up rather than a hand-out. Each partner family undergoes a rigorous selection process, must contribute at
least 400 hours of “sweat equity” into their own and other family building projects and is responsible for their
home’s mortgage. Your participation will provide additional resources to enable funding for more of these
building projects right here in Nacogdoches!

For the golfers and other sponsors lunch and beverages will be provided beginning at 12:00. We will have an
Awards Ceremony with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place weighted for golf handicaps. All sponsors will
receive recognition throughout the event in appreciation of your tax-deductible donations. (If you can’t attend the
event but would like to make a donation to Habitat For Humanity that is greatly appreciated and mailing information is included on the
attached registration form.)
Prior years’ events have been a tremendous success and show that early April provides us some beautiful golfing
weather here in Deep East Texas and we look forward to seeing YOU on the links!!!!
