Simulcast Promotion June 5 – July 31, 2017
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays
RED SHORES at Summerside and Charlottetown
PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY:
1. This promotion is sponsored by Red Shores and is open to any participant, who is nineteen (19)
years of age or older, except employees of RED SHORES, Atlantic Lottery (AL), or any immediate
family of the above. “Immediate Family” means the spouse, sibling, parent and/or child of an
employee referred to above who resides with that employee.
2. The chance of being selected is dependant on the number of eligible players.
3. In the event a selected contestant does not meet the eligibility requirements, then RED SHORES has
no obligation to award any prize to that selected contestant.
HOW TO ENTER:
4. Simulcast Racing – To be eligible for a chance to win, a simulcast player (including Fastbet card
holders) must make a minimum purchase of $2 or more on a silmulcast track. Players will sign their
non-winning ticket along with their phone number. Fast Bet Players will be automatically entered for
the daily draw.
4.1. Only non-winning tickets from that day will be eligible
5. No Purchase Necessary – If a guest does not wish to purchase a ticket by one of the methods listed
above, they may request a “test ticket” to enter the Daily prize draw. They must complete the ticket
with their signature, phone number and then include a reasonable, hand-drawn facsimile of the RED
SHORES logo on the reverse side of the card. One test ticket per person, per day can be obtained
through this method.
DRAWS AND PRIZES:
6. Customers can enter the Player Sweepstakes between June 5th, 2017 – July 31st, 2017
6.1. Black out dates in Summerside from July 9th – July 15th, 2017
7. The prizing will be an Old Home week pass. If the player selected has already won an Old Home
Week pass, they will have a choice of $10 wagering voucher or $10 Turf’s/West End Bar & Grill gift
card.
8. Charlottetown: After each day of the promotion (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) 2 draws
will be made to select a winner from the losing tickets and Fastbet cards. This draw will be made at
9 am of the next day, or as soon as possible thereafter. After the draw is made, the ballot drum will
be emptied and ballots will be shredded. The winners will be posted on the information board in
Simulcast room. The prize will be a Old Home Week Pass, $10 wagering Voucher, or $10 Turfs Bar &
Grill.

9. Summerside : After each day of the promotion (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) a draw will
be made to select a winner from the losing tickets. This draw will be made on at 9 am of the next
day, or as soon as possible thereafter. After the draw is made, the ballot drum will be emptied and
ballots will be shredded. The prize will be a Old Home Week Pass on Monday and Friday, $10
wagering Voucheron Tuesday and $10 West End Bar & Grill on Wednesday. On Monday and Friday if
the Winner selected has already won an Old Home Week pass, they will have the choice between a
$10 wagering voucher or $10 West End Bar & Grill gift card.

WINNER ELIGIBILITY:
10. Potential winners do not need to be present in order to claim the prize of the daily draw. Winners
can collect their prize from the Rewards Desk. If, at the end of the promotion, the winner has not
collected their prize, he/she will no longer be eligible to receive the prize. In that case, the prize
will not be awarded. No substitute prizes will be awarded in the event that prizes are not claimed.
11. In order to be declared a winner, a winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing
question, sign a standard declaration and release form. This signature will act as confirmation of
contest eligibility and compliance with the contest rules. RED SHORES has no obligation to award
any substitute prize and/or award any prize for any incorrect skill testing question.
12. The prize is non-transferable. All prizes are awarded as is, and cannot be substituted or exchanged
GENERAL RULES:
13. All decisions of the Racing department with respect to this promotion are final.
14. No prize substitutions will be made, except for RED SHORES’ right, at its sole discretion, to make a
prize substitution or cash payments of equivalent kind and value. Except as specifically provided
herein, a prize, if unclaimed, will not be awarded.
15. Participation in this promotion authorizes RED SHORES the right to publish the claimant’s name,
address and/or photograph without any claim for broadcasting, printing or other rights. The
claimant shall have no claim against RED SHORES for invasion of privacy, infringement of copyright
or otherwise by reason of the publication or broadcasting of the Claimant’s name, address and/or
photograph.
16. To claim the prize, a government issued photo identification, acceptable to RED SHORES, is required.
17. RED SHORES is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing the Player Sweepstakes
Promotion or awarding prizes in the event of circumstances beyond RED SHORES’ or AL’s control,
and RED SHORES may, at its sole discretion, change or alter this promotion, as RED SHORES deems
necessary.
18. All references to times and dates reflect Atlantic Standard Time.
19. These Official Rules and Regulations govern the promotion and must be followed and by agreeing to
participate in the promotion, all contestants agree to comply with, and be bound by these Official
Rules and Regulations.
