Discover winning performance with DEKALB® when you enter the 2017 NSP Yield Contest! It’s easy — DEKALB will
pay for your entry fee and your NSP membership fee or renewal when your contest entry is submitted. Just complete
the NSP Yield Contest entry form leaving the payment information blank, and submit within the established deadlines.
Important Details and Rules
• Each farmer who enters a DEKALB product may be eligible for prizes from DEKALB as shown below.
Awards from DEKALB are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
• Entrants must hold a current membership in the National Sorghum Producers and their state associations to
qualify. DEKALB will pay the NSP membership fee or renewal with entry for eligible DEKALB growers.
• The membership must be in the exact name as on the entry form.
• To be eligible to win prizes from DEKALB, you must: (1) be 18 or older, (2) plant at least 10 continuous
acres of DEKALB sorghum during the 2017 growing season, (3) not be a Monsanto employee or their
family member, and (4) agree to and comply with the DEKALB contest rules and the NSP rules and eligibility
requirements.
• Each DEKALB prize winner will be required to sign a Liability/Publicity Release before receipt of any prizes.
Winners agree to grant Monsanto the right to use their entry information, name, hometown, biographical
information, images and likenesses for advertising, publicity and promotion purposes, without further
compensation than the prize.
• Taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of each winner.*
• NSP contest rules and entry forms are available online at www.sorghumgrowers.com. Entries must be
completed and postmarked at least 10 days prior to harvest of the contest field. All NSP Yield Contest rules
apply.
• Harvest deadline is December 1, 2017.
2017 National DEKALB Award Winners*:
1st, 2nd and 3rd place national winners of the NSP Yield Contest will win a trip for two to the 2018 Commodity
Classic in Anaheim and a commemortative award.

Prize includes 5 days/4 nights trip for winner and one (1) guest to the 2018 Commodity Classic in Anaheim, CA, including (i) round-trip coach air transportation for 2 people from a major airport in the U.S. nearest thewinner’s home to Anaheim- the winner and their guest must travel from one departure location and on the same itinerary; (ii) standard hotel accommodations, double
occupancy, for 4 nights; (iii) ground transfers to/fromthe airport and hotel while in Anaheim. (iv) Commodity Classic Convention registration for 2 people; (v) certain meals provided at Sponsor’s discretion. Expenses not specified herein (flight/travel insurance, meals, personal expenses) are the sole responsibility of winner. Average Retail Value: $3,000. Please note that you will
receive a W-9 form that must be completed for prize values exceeding $600. The IRS may require you to claim the value of the prize(s) you receive as taxable income on your 2017 tax return.
