The balmy and pleasant Saturday morning added to the enlivening spirit of the participants. Teachers’ team comprising
both male and female staff played with a highly competitive spirit and gave a stiff and an unyielding competition to
students.
Amidst gleeful and loud cheers the match was played with great devotion. The students’ team won the match by 8-5. The
running commentary on this occasion added an electrifying flavour to the match. The fluent, confident and impeccable
commentary done by S. Swaminathan and Arnav Tomar, Class X students was recorded and made into podcast for
those to listen to who could not attend and witness this gala event.
Principal Ms Monika Mehan inaugurated the match and wished for the best team to win. In her address she said that
such matches lend a unique and distinct bonding to the consecrated affinity between teachers and students.
