Instructions for play-free centering units
These centering units do not require special maintenance beyond the regular cleaning and lube at
normal Preventative Maintenance intervals, no different
maintenance intervals than usual for slides or lifters.
1. The pocket width should be in the tolerance
B2+0.005mm .
2. Make sure that the pocket is clean and free of
burrs and debris prior to assembly.
3. Mount the centering units.
4. Depress cage and release quickly. Cage should
snap back to the full forward position.
If there is any intermittent movement, or slow return,
remove female and check for obstruction. If problem
persists, contact STRACK NORMA.
5. Make sure numerical sequence on male and female
matches, as these centering units are ultra- precise
and custom fitted.
ATTENTION: The units are not interchangeable
and may not be disassembled or mechanically
processed.

them in dunk tanks to thoroughly remove any grit or

acceptable.

a small amount in spring pocket.
6. Wipe off the male match and apply a small amount
of grease on the sliding surfaces.
