The Monday Night League at Briar Leaf Golf Club
We hope you’ll join us this year for another season of the Monday Night League.
We want to let you know a little bit about the league and how things will operate this
year.
Each week beginning on April 27th each team will be assigned to play against
one of the other four-person teams in the league. Each person will compete directly with
the corresponding player (A, B, C, D) from the opposing team in a 9-hole net match play
format. One point will be awarded for winning a hole, 1/2 point for a tied hole, and a
bonus point will be awarded to the player winning the most points in the match.
Handicaps will be determined initially by the info you provide below, and then will change
each week as scores are updated.
A master list of team members, phone numbers and a competition schedule will
be distributed so that you can contact your opponent if you have a conflict.
The special league golf fees are: $13.50 walking / $22.00 riding
This year we will again have three “Jackpot Scramble” events where we’ll take a
week off from the regular competition and you’ll play with your teammates in fun
formats for cash prizes!
We really hope that you’ll participate in the fun this season and we’re sure you’ll
enjoy playing with and meeting the other golfers in the league. We are excited about the
upcoming golf season and we’re looking forward to seeing you on the course!
