2017 GWGA Four-Ball Team Event
Let Play Begin! If you are like me, you are ready to get back on the course. Join GWGA at Jekyll Island
for the 45th Annual Four-Ball Tournament on April 24th and 25th. Practice rounds are also available on
April 23rd.
For those of you new to this tournament, this is team play where each team member plays their ball
individually. This is a net tournament where you subtract your allowed handicap for each hole score.
(This allowance is entered on your card.) Then, a team score is entered by selecting the best net score for
the hole.
Also join us at the beautiful Jekyll Island Club Hotel for refreshments and our annual meeting on Sunday
after your practice round or arrival.
Oh, did I mention that at least 1 out of 3 players will receive prizes? Your winnings are based on your net
score placement in the field. With your handicap putting you on level ground with everyone, anyone can
win the tournament or place high in the winnings.
It’s a fun time for all. You visit with old friends, make new friends, and play golf! Certainly, it’s hard to
beat this for a great time.
Join us at Jekyll and kick off the golfing year with a team win!
